Staff Correspondent

MYSORE: Congress leader Siddaramaiah said that there has been a substantial increase in the consumption of Indian-made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) after the ban on sale and consumption of arrack in the State. He said the ban has shot up the sales of IMFL. “Before the ban, over 12 lakh cases of whisky were being sold daily in the State. The sales went up to 30 lakh cases a day after the ban,” he said.
