JSS HS, KPES post wins

HUBLI: JSS High School (Dharwad) and KPES High School (Dharwad) won their respective matches in the KSCA Dharwad Zone under-15 inter-School cricket tournament at Hubli and Dharwad respectively on Thursday.

JSS defeated Vivekanand High School by 196 runs, while KPES won over St. Michael’s High School by nine wickets.

The scores:

JSS HS 255 in 39.1 overs (S. Aniruddh 54 not out, D. Ketan 42, D. Harsha four for 38, S. Ankith three for 39) bt Vivekanand HS 59 in 14.5 overs (D. Ketan five for 37).

St. Michael’s HS 145 in 30 overs (Ajit five for 22, Hasan Ali four for 34) lost to KPES HS 146 for one in 17 overs (Hasan Ali 69, Pavan Munavalli 57 not out).
