High alert in Haryana, Punjab

CHANDIGARH: Haryana and Punjab have been put on high alert after a blast hit a cavalcade of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief in Karnal district on Saturday, with thousands of his followers blocking National Highway No.1 at different places.“The State is put on high alert and we are monitoring the situation closely,” Haryana Home Secretary K. S. Bhoria told PTI.
