Mayank wins

BANGALORE: Mayank Patel (M.S. Ramaiah College) and Manasi Kulkarni (RN Shetty Institute of Technology) emerged triumphant in the KSTBA-Starcity Students Tenpin Bowling championship held here on Saturday.

Mayank, with a total pinfall of 1818, nosed ahead of Abhishek Maheshwari (Seshadripuram Degree), who finished with 1808 pinfalls, while Akaash Marlecha (Christ) turned in 1765 pinfalls for third place.

Manasi, however, proved far too good in the girls section with a 1369 pinfall score to finish tops while Namratha Karanth (Vogue Fashion Tech.) 1134 pinfalls and Falguni Shah (J.D. Inst. of Fashion) finished third best with 1069 pinfalls.

Abhishek, with 234 pinfalls, was the highest scorer amongst boys while Manasi (218) topped the girls section. — Special Correspondent
