Dileep claims six wickets

VISAKHAPATNAM: Dileep Kumar of Dr. V.S. Krishna Government College claimed six wickets in his team’s four-wicket win over AU College of Engineering in a quarterfinal of the Andhra University “A” Zone inter-college cricket tournament here on Tuesday.

In an exciting match, PRISM College beat T.S.R. and T.B.K. College by two wickets with two balls in spare. B. Venkateswara Rao remained not out on 81.

The scores: A.U. College of Engineering 82 in 24 overs (Dileep Kumar six for 13) lost to Dr. V.S. Krishna Govt. College 85 for six in 20.3 overs.

T.S.R. and T.B.K. College 217 in 38 overs (Abhishek 56) lost to PRISM College 218 for eight in 38.4 overs (B. Venkateswara Rao 81 n.o., Niyamatullah 45). — Special Correspondent
