Pairing up for a good cause

Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar has agreed to pair up with tennis champion Roger Federer for social campaigns according to Ratnakar Shetty, CAO, Board of Control for Cricket in India.

“The Government of Switzerland approached the BCCI some time ago and Tendulkar immediately agreed to team up with Federer. He was thrilled,” said Prof. Shetty. He also said that a representative of the National Basketball Association was at the BCCI office on Tuesday to express NBA’s desire to associate itself with the BCCI for promotional and social activities. — Special Correspondent
