Jupiter wins easily

Bangalore: Jupiter FC defeated Excelsior 3-0 in a State ‘C’ division football league match here on Monday. Pradeep (10th min.), Bhuvaneshwaran (22nd) and Imran (48th) scored.

Dhruva triumphs

Dhruva Kumar won the under-14 title in the Kensri School tennis tournament here, beating N. Prajwal 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.

Sanchit hits century

Sanchit’s unbeaten 120 helped Bishop Cotton Boy’s School score 231 against Presidency School in a B.T. Ramaiah Shield under-15 tournament semifinals here on Monday.

In reply, Presidency School mustered 137, conceding a lead of 94 runs. At stumps on the opening day, Bishop Cottons scored 53 for one in 10 overs.

Bishop Cotton Boy’s School 231 in 50.5 overs (Sanchit 120 not out) and 53 for one in 10 overs vs Presidency School, RT Nagar 137 in 40.4 overs (S. Sandeep 43).

St. Joseph’s Boy’s HS 159 in 50.4 overs (Gilbert 62, K. Vamshidhar five for 58) vs SJIHS 182 for seven in 45 overs (K. Navneeth 51, Santosh Gowda 48 not out).
