Narain keen to repeat the Zhuhai act
Coimbatore: A podium finish at the Zhuhai circuit in China is still fresh in Narain Karthikeyan’s mind. And, the Coimbatore-based driver believes he can come up with a similar performance in the A1GP race at the New Taupo Race Complex in New Zealand this weekend.
“We will definitely be looking at improving our standings at Taupo from last year and a podium finish does not seem too distant,” said Narain, who finished seventh and 10th respectively in the feature and sprint races at Taupo last season.
“We have been improving with every race. It is important we keep this momentum and improve our position,” said the team’s Chief Executive Officer, Andaleeb Sehgal. — Sports Reporter
