Cognizant Tech Forum for college students

CHENNAI: Cognizant will organise a Tech Forum on January 19 for pre-final year engineering and MCA students to test their skills in a competitive atmosphere.

Teams from leading engineering colleges in and around Chennai would participate in events such as robotics, technical paper presentations, general quiz and ultimate techie.

Titled TransITion ’08, the one-day event would be held at IMAGE Auditorium.

Panel discussion

NASSCOM Chairman and Cognizant vice-chairman Lakshmi Narayanan would anchor a panel discussion with Anna University vice-chancellor D. Viswanathan and Confederation of Indian Industry Tamil Nadu State Council Chairman and TVS Electronics Director Gopal Srinivasan on the topic ‘Engineering Education: How to Foster Entrepreneurship and Innovation’.
