Chosen for award

CHENNAI: Chemical Industries Association will confer ‘Rasa Udyog Ratna’ award on N. Sankar, Sanmar Group of Companies chairman, on January 25, in recognition of his contribution to the chemical industries.

According to an association press release, Mr. Sankar will deliver the Krishnaswamy Memorial Lecture “four decades of chemical industries in the country - a personal perspective.” — Special Correspondent
