Baalu calls on Sonia

CHENNAI: Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transports and Highways and leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party in Parliament T.R. Baalu on Monday called on United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.

He enquired about her health on behalf of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

Mrs. Gandhi extended her Pongal greetings to the Chief Minister. — Special Correspondent
