Congress decision opposed

CHENNAI: Representatives of the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam have opposed the Congress’ decision to give permission to ‘Thuglak’ to use Kamarajar Arangam for a function in which Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is to participate.

In a letter to All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi, TMMK president M.H. Jawahirullah said the TNCC Trust had accorded permission to Thuglak editor Cho.Ramaswamy to use Kamarajar Arangam for the annual meeting to which Mr. Modi had been invited. — Special Correspondent
