CPI (M) meet to discuss bauxite mining

VISAKHAPATNAM: The 19th district conference of the unist Party of India (Marxist) will be held at Araku valley from January 9 to 11 to discuss campaigns against bauxite mining, houses-sites to all the eligible persons and other issues confronting the public.

CPI (M) district secretary Ch. Narsinga Rao, city secretary K. Loknadham and CITU leader V.S. Padmanabha Raju told reporters on Sunday that party State secretary B.V. Raghavulu, Bhadrachalam MP Midiam Babu Rao, MLC M.V.S Sarma and AIDWA leader Punyavathi would address the gathering. This is the first time the party is holding its district conference in the agency.
