Medical camp conducted
Staff Reporter
VANIYAMBADI: Women should update their knowledge regarding modern developments and spread information about various government schemes among villagers, Tirupattur Sub-Division Sub Collector Ashish Kumar has said.
He was speaking after inaugurating a medical camp organised by NSS students of Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, at the YMCA Community Hall, Yelagiri Hills, near Tirupattur.
Mr. Kumar said that students should help the tribal people living in the Hills to get community certificates. The students should also assist the Police Department in regulating traffic at important junctions in Tirupattur, he said.
More than 100 NSS students of Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women took part in the camp. It is being organised from January 3 to January 12.
