Two judges sworn in

BANGALORE: Two additional judges of the Karnataka High Court, Jawed Rahim and N. Anand, were on Friday sworn in as permanent judges of the Karnataka High Court.

Both Justice Rahim and Justice Anand had been appointed as additional judges last year. Both were administered the oath of office on the High Court premises by Chief Justice of the High Court Cyriac Joseph.

While Mr. Rahim had served as Law Secretary of the State and as personal secretary to then Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Navdeep Kumar Sodhi, before his elevation as a judge, Mr. Anand was the Registrar-General of the High Court and District Judge.
