ERODE: The Highways and Ports Minister M.P. Saminathan recently distributed Rs. 2.40 lakh worth 128 LPG connections free of cost at a function held at Vellakoil. He said that old age pension, financial assistance to physically disabled persons, pregnant women and destitute persons were being given on time. Unemployed youth had been given employment opportunities and within 18 months, a total of 2.40 lakh unemployed persons had been provided employment in Tamil Nadu, he said.
