SALEM: A few unidentified persons stole five sovereigns of jewellery, Rs. 3,000 and valuables from a house in Angammal colony here on Sunday night. Police said that Sundaramurthi (34), after visiting his relatives in Sankagiri, returned home on Monday. He found the doors of his house broke open. He found DVD player and other valuables missing. The Pallapatti police registered a case.
