BSNL launches mobile handset in association with DigiBee

CHENNAI: The Chennai Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has ambitious plans to provide value added services in all its products especially in mobile telephony and broadband connectivity services.
Speaking at a function to mark the formal launch of the G-200CF mobile handset in association with DigiBee Microsystems (DGB), Chief General Manager of BSNL, Chennai, M.P. Velusamy, said though BSNL was a late entrant to the mobile telephony segment, it already had over 8.8 lakh subscribers, registering a 20 per cent market share.
Chairman and Managing Director of DigiBee Microsystems, Suresh Dholakia, said the DGB-BSNL offer would go a long way in further enhancing the market share of the state-owned telecom service provider.
