Lion’s School concedes lead
HUBLI: Lion’s English Medium High School (Hubli) conceded a 97-run first innings lead to Rotary English Medium High School in the semifinals (two-day) of the KSCA Dharwad Zone under-17 inter-schools cricket tournament at stumps on Tuesday.
The scores: LEMHS 75 in 39.5 overs (Murali Rajgopal seven for 30) and 30 for three in 15 overs vs. REMHS 202 in 50.4 overs (P. Suraj 44 not out, Kishore Kamal 43, Chetanya Patil three for 39).
New English School (Hubli) 85 in 19.5 overs (Sofisab Nadaf 29, Shyamsundar Patil five for 31) lost to KE Board’s HS (Dharwad) 87 for no loss (Sanket Diwan 48 not out, Shreyas Murdeshwar 26 not out).
