Equestrian today

After a two-day gap when rain played spoilsport, the National and South India equestrian championships will begin at the Mohite Stadium, Officers Training Academy, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai, on Friday. Events will begin at 1 p.m. with the show jumping open grade six bar, and will continue late into the night.

Rain plays spoilsport

The wet spell ended but with the turf at the Nehru Stadium in poor state because of the overnight rain, no play was possible in the CFA league on Thursday also. Both the senior division and first division matches for day have been postponed.
