Rushi Raj scores century

Hyderabad: Rushi Raj scored 100 and helped Evergreen CC beat Oxford Blues by 191 runs in an ‘A’ Division knock-out cricket tournament match here on Thursday.

The results: ‘A’ Division: Gujarati CC 269 for eight (Dhruv Parikh 65, Dilip Kumar 52, Anwar four for 39) bt Crown 207 for nine (Md. Khaja Nizam 43, Dilip four for 282).

Evergreen 273 for six (Rushi Raj 100, Jatin Mehta 52, J. Anshul 43, Dwarakanath Yadav 40) bt Oxford Blues 82 (Vishal Sharma four for 11).

VST 204 (Kaleem 74) lost to Gemini Friends 205 for three (Vishal Krishna 71 n.o., G.V. Sridhar 68).

Team for KSCA tournament

Arun Deva will lead the Hyderabad under-13 team for the South Zone inter-State KSCA under-13 cricket tournament at Bangalore from Dec 28.
