Body concealed in sack found

KOLKATA: A body concealed in a sack was recovered from under a mound of earth in Parulbari in the Maheshpur area of Nandigram in West Bengal’s Purbo Medinipur district on Wednesday,

The body was dug up in the presence of the Central Reserve Police Force and the State police and under the supervision of the Block Divisional Officer. It was unearthed a day after several cartridge shells were found nearby.

The body has been identified as that of Haren Pramanik, who was reported missing for the past few weeks.
