Poet remembered

The 125 birth anniversary of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiar was celebrated by Janata Dal (Secular) at Setupati Higher Secondary School on Tuesday. K. John Moses, State general secretary, presided over the function.

G. Rajendran, district urban president, garlanded the statue.

Bharathi Ilakkiya Peravai organised a similar celebration at the school.
