Manav takes lead

KOLKATA: A two under par 70 gave one of the top amateurs, Manav Das, a two-stroke lead after two rounds in the LG Indian amateur golf tour’s RCGC Cup here on Wednesday.

Das, who has been displaying brilliant form this season having won three titles on the tour so far, stood at level par 144.

Top scores (after 36 holes): 144 - Manav Das (74, 70); 146 - Abhishek Jha (73, 73), Tarun Gogale (73, 73), Saurabh Bhauguna (72, 74); 147 - Akshay Bhuta (71, 76), Md. Dulal Hussain (75, 72); 148 - Pawan Kumar (74, 74). — Special Correspondent
