Life term for ex-Minister

Nawada: A district court on Wednesday sentenced a Minister in the previous Rabri Devi government and three others to life imprisonment for killing a village head in 2006.

Additional District and Sessions Judge of fast track court V.S. Pathak on Tuesday convicted the former Minister, Aditya Singh, and his three associates — Narsingh Singh, Mukesh Singh and Tarun Singh — under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.

They were convicted for killing Lalan Singh, head of Sakarpura village.. — PTI
