New subsidy scheme for hotels

NEW DELHI: With a view to creating more budget hotel room capacity ahead of the Commonwealth Games, the Government on Tuesday announced subsidy tied to the number of rooms built by the hotelier. The Government also brought into the ambit of the new subsidy scheme the budget hotels in metropolitan cities.
