DHARWAD: Rotary English Medium School and St Paul’s High School, both of Hubli recorded facile wins to move into the quarter final of the second Saptagiri Trophy under-15 inter-schools cricket tournament in Dharwad on Monday.

The scores: KE Board’s EMHS 68 in 15.4 overs (Tarun three for seven, Suraj Laddha three for 20) lost to Rotary EMHS 69 for one in 7.3 overs (Ramachandra Hegde 33 not out).

Pavan EMHS 200 for 5 in 25 overs (Pavan 42, Kartik 40) bt Parivartan Gurukul 48 in 11 overs (K. Akshay five for 17, H. Pavan three for 8).

St Paul’s HS 170 for 5 in 25 overs (Akshay Angadi 55 not out, U.T. Akshay 33) bt SDM Central School 36 in 12.2 overs (Akshay Angadi three for six, Sushant Masalwad three for eight).

JSS School 164 for eight in 25 overs (Hemaraddi G 33, D. Amit three for 20, B.N. Shashank three for 28) bt Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dharwad 47 in 12 overs (Vasant five for 10).
