Thumping win for Railway South FC

Mysore: Railway South FC, helped by a brace by right-in Samuel (37th & 38th minutes), registered an 8-2 win over Shivaji FC in the inaugural match of the Mysore District Football Association ‘B’ division league match at the University football grounds here on Monday.

Rozario (sixth), Raju (40th), Deepu (45th), Harisha (56th), Praveen (66th) and Nanda (68th minute) scored the other goals for Railway South.

Centre-forward Rizwan scored both goals for the loser.
