Hyderabad in command

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad enforced the follow-on against Saurashtra in the all-India Vijay Merchant Trophy (under-17) Plate Group ‘B’ match in Rajkot on Thursday, according to information received here.

Saurashtra, in reply to Hyderabad’s 309, was all out for 119 in the first innings and in the second essay was 20 for no loss.

Hyderabad 309 in 113.5 overs (P. Akshath Reddy 59, K. Nimesh Reddy 43, J.S. Dhanaji Rao 85, Sandeep Goud 34, Mitesh Baraiya three for 58, A. Dave three for 55) vs. Saurashtra 119 in 68.1 overs (B. Jadeja 32, P.B. Parashar four for 32) & 20 for no loss in five overs.
