Third win for Alappuzha

KOTTAYAM: Alappuzha recorded its third straight win in the South Zone under-13 inter-district cricket tournament after crushing Pathanamthitta by eight wickets at the MG University ground on Thursday.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded its second straight win with a 95-run win over Kollam at the St. Ephrem’s ground.

The scores: Thiruvananthapuram 185 in 31.5 overs (Sanju V. Samson 51 not out, Aravind Soman three for 34) bt Kollam 90 in 20.5 overs (Akhil Das four for 26).

Pathanamthitta 63 in 21.4 overs (Bertin four for 16) lost to Alappuzha 64 for two in 16.5 overs (Ashok Chandran 37 not out).
