Mane takes honours

HYDERABAD: Swadinal Mane of Maharashtra clinched the honours in the 500m time trial event for boys under-15 clocking 38.67s in the 61st National cycling championships for seniors, juniors and sub-juniors at Osmania University velodrome here on Tuesday.

The results:

1 km time trial: Men: 1. Bikram Singh (Rlys) 1:09.99, 2. Sukhjinder Singh (Rlys), 3. Hitraj Singh (BSF).

Boys: Under-19: 1. Harpinder Singh (Pun) 1:14.18, 2. Th. Thaobiba Singh (Man), 3 Rahul Borde (Mah).

500m time trial: Under-17: 1. Amrit Singh (Pun) 36.76, 2. K.B.D. Tejareddy (AP), 3. Atul Sonavani (Mah).

Under-15: 1. Swadinal Mane (Mah) 38.67, 2. K. Shiv Kumar (AP), 3. Amanvir Singh (Pun).

500m time trial:

Women: 1. V. Rajni (Ker) 39.69, 2. Mahita Mohan (Ker), 3. Tombi Sana Devi (Man).

Girls: Under-19: 1. Mahita Mohan (Ker) 40.76, 2. H. Renibala Devi (Man), 3. B. Neeta (A & N). Under-17: 1. Deepa Chandran (Ker) 42.27, 2. Parvati (Ker), 3. Miggia (A & N).
