Masters athletics
MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Masters Athletic Associations are organising the fourth Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District and Maharashtra State Masters (invitation) athletics championship at the Mangala Stadium here on December 9.
The Late Sridhar Rai Memorial athletics meet for boys and girls in the age-group of under-10, 12 and 14 years too will be held on this occasion.
The Masters event will also serve as trials to select the district team for the forthcoming two-day State-level Masters athletics championships to be held at Hassan from January 4. Entries should be sent to P. Lakshmana Rai, secretary, DK and Udupi Masters Athletics Association, Corporation Bank, Poonja Arcade Branch, Hampankatta, 575001 on or before December 5.
