Surendra scores century

VIJAYAWADA: M. Surendra of Central Zone ‘B’ scored 178 (26x4, 2x6) on the first day of the two-day ACA u-13 inter-zonal cricket tournament for the D. Venkateswara Rao-Haranath Baba Memorial Trophy at Guntur on Monday.

The scores: Central ‘A’ 108 in 54 overs (Siva three for six) vs. North ‘B’ 96 for two in 38 overs; Central ‘B’ 324 in 67 overs (M. Surendra 178, Kaundilya 78, Abbas four for 72, Sashikanth three for 50) vs. North ‘A’ 29 for one in 13 overs.
