Reddy Sangham drops protest plan against TD
HYDERABAD: The AP Reddy Sankshema Sangham has ‘temporarily dropped’ its proposal to lay siege to the Telugu Desam Party office in Banjara Hills on December 4 following an assurance on Sunday by party president N. Chandrababu Naidu that it was not targeting the Reddy or any other community.
Mr. Naidu is said to have given the assurance to leaders of the sangham who called on him on Sunday.
He clarified that as the main Opposition, the party had only highlighted how the Government was acting in a partisan manner and that it should not be construed as a campaign against a community.
The TDP always believed in social equality and justice.
