Girideepam Bethany enters final

KOTTAYAM: Host Girideepam Bethany boys entered the final of the 17th Girideepam all-India inter-school invitation basketball tournament at the Girideepam floodlit court here on Sunday.

In the semifinal, Girideepam defeated St. Thomas HSS, Pala, 46-30. Cherupusha HSS, Chandanakampara, moved into the final in the girls’ section with a 48-26 win over Little Flower GHSS, Koratty, in the semifinals.

Leo XIII won the title in boys’ under-13 category
