Seven in joint lead

MANGALORE: Seven players are in joint lead with four points apiece after four rounds of the Karnataka State rapid chess championship.

Players in the lead are: B.S. Shivananda, Y.G. Vijendra, Vikram Saralaya, Krishna Udupa, P.V. Srinivas, N. Sanjay and Ankit Gupta. Running them close with three and a half points each are: Kedar Umesh Vase, Anil S. Shetty, Gaesh Kumar, J.K. Gautam and Hariharan Subramony.
