Gaurav slams five goals

NEW DELHI: Gaurav Sahgal slotted in five goals while Jai Shergill scored one as Remount Veterinary Corps defeated Bodyguards six goals to four-and-a-half to win the DG RVS Cup two-goal polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre ground here on Saturday.

Sahgal opened the scoring in the first chukker after Bodyguards started with a half-a-goal handicap. Sahgal dominated play as Bodyguards struggled to keep pace with his attacks.

For Bodyguards, Ali Adil Mahmood scored two, while Qamsany and N. S. Khera were the other scorers. — Principal Correspondent
