Vijay Kumar, Anand shine

Bangalore: Vijay Kumar’s unbeaten 128 and B. Anand’s five for 8 spell helped Presidency School RT Nagar defeat Kensri HS by 305 runs in the B.T. Ramaiah Shield under-15 tournament here on Thursday.

Presidency School posted 336 for seven in 45 overs and later bowled out Kensri HS for 31 in 13 overs.

The scores: Presidency School, RT Nagar 336 for seven in 45 overs (Vijay Kumar 128 n.o., Mandeep Singh 81, Aman 63) bt Kensri HS 31 in 13 overs (B. Anand five for eight).

Sudarshan Vidyamandir 83 in 35 overs lost to SJBHS 87 for two in 15.5 overs.

Carmel HS 185 in 42.3 overs (Girija Shankar 102 n.o.) lost to Presidency School, Nandini Layout 186 for three in 35.4 overs (S.S. Darshan 93 n.o., Abdul Nauman 57).

JIRS 223 for nine in 45 overs (Vishak 44) bt Seshadripuram BHS 172 in 37.1 overs.

Little Flower Public School 112 in 37.1 overs lost to FAPS 116 for one in 12.1 overs (Suraj 52 n.o.).

MEG defeats SAI

MEG defeated SAI 3-0 in the State super-division league at the Football Stadium here on Thursday. Lokeshwar Singh (17th), Gabriel (65th) and Dipan Thapa (70th) were the scorers.

Later, in another super-division match, BEML (EM) defeated DYSS 3-0. Abdulla Hanza (39th), Wilfred (43rd) and Govinda (89th) scored for BEML.

Ticketpro to handle ticket sales

Ticketpro had earlier handled the sale of tickets for the ODI between India and Australia here on September 29.

Fans can either print e-tickets on their own or they could have their tickets couriered to their address.

The tickets with bar codes, will eliminate duplication and misuse.

Dharwad City posts win

Dharwad City Under-13 team defeated Hubli City team by six wickets in the Under-13 KSCA inter-district league match played at the SDM Dental College Ground in Dharwad on Thursday.

The scores: Hubli City 141 for seven in 45 overs (Kishor Kamat 40) lost to Dharwad City 142 for four in 40.3 overs (Samarth Ooty 46).
