Scooterist knocked down

HYDERABAD: A four-wheeler belonging to the GHMC crushed a youngster riding a scooter to death near Dak Sadan on Abids road on Wednesday. The victim Vidyanand, 24, a car driver, was going to his office from Muralidharbagh side to Nampally when the oncoming GHMC vehicle hit him and ran over him around 7.30 a.m.

Vidyanand was initially shifted to the Osmania General Hospital and then to a private hospital where he succumbed to injuries a couple of hours later.
