SHRC to issue NBW against Tukaramgate station house officer

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission is likely to issue a Non-Bailable Warrant against the Tukaramgate station house officer.
Commission chairperson Justice B. Subhashan Reddy in a press release here on Tuesday said notices were issued to the Tukaramgate station house officer calling for the status report of a case.
Notices ignored
Despite several notices, the station house officer did not file reports and on October 30, the Commission passed an order directing him to be present before it on November 27, said Mr. Reddy.
“In the circumstances, the Commission has got no other alternative but to issue Non-Bailable Warrant against the Tukaramgate station house officer,” he added.
