VISAKHAPATNAM: Barring an incident near Marripalem diesel loco shed in which members of two trade unions clashed, polling on Wednesday, the third and final day, to determine majority trade union in the Railways ended on a peaceful note. There was a clash between supporters of East Coast Railway Shramik Union and ECR Shramik Congress at steel plant on Wednesday. Poll percentageOut of the 18,538 group C and D employees in Waltair Division of ECoR, 16,452 had exercised their franchise. The percentage of votes polled here was 86.75. It was 88.24 per cent in the entire East Coast Railway Zone. Four trade unions are in the fray.
