Bomb hoax at college

BANGALORE: An anonymous person telephoned the S.J.R. Pre-University College for Women in Rajajinagar on Tuesday and informed the principal that a bomb has been planted there.

The police said that a person, who identified himself as Jagadish, had telephoned the principal around 10 a.m. on Monday and told her about a bomb being planted. The same person had made the call on Tuesday too. Bomb Detection Squad personnel searched the college premises on Tuesday too. But they did not find any explosives. The call turned out to be a hoax.
