HYDERABAD: St. Andrews high School recorded an eight-wicket win over Cal Public School in the final of the Air Tel Cup inter-schools (under-13) cricket tournament here on Monday. The scores: Inter-schools (under-13): Cal Public School 103 (Rohit Reddy 45, Mohit Soni three for five) lost to St. Andrews HS 106 for two (B.Anirudh 59). Wipro triumphsWipro recorded a four-wicket win over Karvy in the final of the Corporate Premiership cricket tournament here. Special prizes were given to Ravi Babu of Wipro (player of the series), Sardar of Karvy (best wicketkeeper), Sanjeev of Karvy (best batsman) and Gopal of Wipro (best bowler). The scores: Final: Karvy 77 lost to Wipro 78 for six. Semifinals: NMDC 101 lost to Wipro 132 for four; GE Money 107 lost to Karvy 128 for one (Sanjeev 82 not out). Hockey tournamentYoung Hyderabad Hockey Club will organise M.A. Quddus memorial invitation knock-out tournament from November 30 to December 8 at Gymkhana Grounds.
