MAMC girl commits suicide

NEW DELHI: A second year post-graduate student of anaesthesiology at Maulana Azad Medical College here allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room on Monday. The police have found a suicide note in the room.
The incident came to light around 6-15 p.m. when some occupants of P.G. Girls’ Hostel found 27-year-old Rama, who lived in Room No. 8, lying unconscious in her room. They informed the hospital authorities who reported the matter to the police.
The police found a suicide note in which Rama allegedly wrote that no one else was responsible for her death. It is learnt that they also found a syringe indicating that she allegedly injected herself with some lethal solution. Enquiries revealed that her exams were going on. The police have informed her parents.
