VIJAYAWADA: The 268-run second wicket partnership between Mithali Raj (158 n.o, 11x4) and Jaya Sharma (151, 12x4) for Indian Railways against Punjab was the highlight on the first day of the two-day all-India senior women inter-zonal knock-out cricket tournament at the Anantapur Sports Village at Anantapur on Sunday. Indian Railways posted a mammoth 384 for two in the stipulated 90 overs. The scores: Indian Railways 384 for two in 90 overs (Mithali Raj 158 n.o, Jaya Sharma 151, Hemalatha 52 n.o.) vs. Punjab. Mumbai 151 in 84.5 overs (Monica Sumra 63) vs. Karnataka six for no loss in seven overs.
