Karthick were in the limelight on Saturday as they achieved pole positions in their respective classes as the stage was set for hectic action on Sunday in the sixth and final round of the UCAL Rolon National racing championship for bikes at Irungattukottai. Pole positions (various categories): Expert: Group D 4 Stroke 125-160 cc: K. Rajini (01:15:976); Group D 4 Stroke 80-125: P. Karthick (01:18:405); Group C 2 Stroke 110-150 cc: Preetam Dev Moses (02:03:003). Novice category: Group D 4 stroke 80-125 cc: S. Shankar (01:22:064); Group D 4 stroke 125-160 cc: V.
