Kumari slams century

VIJAYAWADA: Delhi posted 294 in the stipulated 90 overs against Bengal, thanks to L. Kumari’s 106 (15x4), in the all-India senior women’s inter-zonal knock-out cricket tournament at the Anantapur Sports Village grounds at Anantapur on Friday.

In another match, Maharashtra restricted Madhya Pradesh to 136 in 70.4 overs and was 51 for three in reply.

The scores: Delhi 294 in 90 overs (L. Kumari 106, Asha Rawat 97, Sashi Malik 46 n.o.) vs. Bengal.

Madhya Pradesh 136 in 70.4 overs (Swaroopa Kadam three for 18, Thrupthi Khot three for 28) vs. Maharasthra 51 for three in 32 overs.
