Awards for Lata, Dilip Kumar

PANAJI: The Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry has chosen veteran film actor Dilip Kumar and melody queen Lata Mangeshkar for the life-time achievement awards for their contribution to Indian cinema in the field of acting and film songs.

Announcing this at the IFFI inaugural ceremony here, Minister for I&B Priyaranjan Dasmunsi said the Ministry decided to honour film artistes and technicians for their contribution to the industry, in view of the 60th anniversary of India’s Independence.
