BANGALORE: Tamil Nadu scored two crucial victories in Pool C to emerge as the second best team in the pool and qualify for the knock-out phase of the 36th Senior National handball championship for men at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Thursday. The TN team pipped a determined Uttar Pradesh 26-25 after leading 12-11 at half time with Lalit stealing the limelight scoring nine goals. Earlier in the day, TN outclassed Maharashtra with a 37-21 scoreline.
