NEW DELHI: The Lok Sabha was adjourned on Thursday following heated arguments between the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members when Devendra Prasad Yadav (RJD) demanded registration of a case against the Gujarat Chief Minister and a CBI inquiry into the revelations made in the Tehelka sting over Gujarat riots. The BJP members protested as Mr. Yadav raised the issue during zero hour saying the TV expose had shown that those holding constitutional posts had masterminded mass killings. Mr. Yadav was supported by Ramji Lal Suman (Samajwadi Party) and Basudeb Acharia (Communist Party of India-M). This angered the BJP members leading to adjournment of the House ahead of the lunch break. BJP member pulled up Earlier, a BJP member was pulled up by Speaker Somnath Chatterjee for questioning his ruling on disallowing a supplementary during question hour.
